I'll start with the bottom line! I love the Shenandoah Valley. It keeps me smiling every day.
I might be responding to a friendly wave and a smile from a fellow driver. I might be reflecting on a marvelous view of our mountain beauty. I could be returning from a drive into the City to my Woodstock home and breathing a sigh of relief as I cross the Blue Ridge into the Shenandoah Valley or the Shenandoah River near Front Royal. The Shenandoah Valley, my "Home By Choice", has many reasons to keep me smiling!
Since my first experience with real estate in Los Angeles in the early 1970’s, I have had careers both as a professional guitarist and music tutor, and as a computer network manager and database application designer/programmer. In some 18 years as a techie I worked for real estate companies in various capacities for eight years.
I decided to enter residential real estate sales full time after Cary (my wife and companion of 33 years) and I decided to move to Shenandoah County in search of peace, timeless beauty and common courtesy in April 2002. This was in keeping with a pledge I made to myself in Vietnam while serving in the U.S. Army to smile for the rest of my life on my return home.
In this beautiful mountain country I get friendly waves and smiles from people all day long.
As a REALTOR, I am having some of the most personally satisfying experiences of my life.
Performance and service quality awards reflect my success in working with people and my passion for learning. My colleagues in the Massanutten Association of Realtors elected me to a three year term on the Board of Directors in December 2004, and selected me for the “Code of Ethics” award for 2004.
I am passionate about continuing education. The Commonwealth of Virginia requires Real Estate licensees to earn 16 hours of continuing education credit every two years to keep their license current. I've accumulated 70+ hours of classroom time or more in previous cycles.
I will do everything I can to help guide your real estate experience in a pleasant way, to a successful conclusion. I invite you to give me a call or drop me an email to let me how I can help.
You'll see that I maintain that smile and I work hard to earn them from everyone from fellow citizens, colleagues, customers and clients!
